New Rental Service

Harvest Healthcare is now offering rental service.

We understand that the requirements of organisations are constantly changing and need flexibility on the products that they have. Often these requirements mean that healthcare facilities require urgent ad-hoc or planned rental programmes.

Our rental service allows you to have the products you need for as long as you need them, upgrade products to keep up with improving technology, maximise your budget as you only pay for what you use and access to our high-quality maintenance service.

Harvest Healthcare will provide you with a fully decontaminated, functional product, delivered and installed to your location. In the event of a breakdown, we will either repair or replace your system, never leaving you without a working system, fulfilling the promise that we are always “equipped to care”.

Team of The Month – Mattress Repair Team

Our mattress Repair Team have won September’s team of the month cup for their efficiency and hard work!

Over the past three months, they have had to overcome a good few hurdles including a full refurbishment of the decontamination and repair areas and a whole host of unforeseen logistical issues!

Despite the difficulties, we have seen month on month growth in the department. It is genuinely brilliant to see a team pull together, take the initiative and make things happen, well done to all three!

Repair, Don’t Replace

Harvest’s on-site mattress department is equipped to carry out repairs and decontamination of most active mattresses and pumps.

What does your site usually do if an active system is worn down, and looks in need of repair? 

Harvest’s team work to ensure systems don’t need replacing – where possible, but can be restored to a working condition.

Once a breakdown has been reported and we have arranged collection – the system is decontaminated, inspected and a quotation is sent over for your approval. The quicker the quote is approved, the quicker we can repair and return to you.

All systems are returned complete with a decontamination certificate, from our OTEX machines. The specialist machines inject Ozone into the wash cycle, destroying most bacteria to ensure the system is certified with full traceability.

We favour the honest approach of repairing over replacing making our services more cost-effective for you.

Our focus is to provide you with a complete package, both quick and efficient for scheduled and unplanned maintenance.

Getting Our Priorities Right

The recent Lord’s Select Committee Report on the long-term sustainability of the NHS, addresses concerns about views from various Government Bodies, failing to plan effectively for the future.

Health Services and Adult Social Care continue to take a hit, and current challenges require a long-term direction for the health system. The NHS are adamant goals for the future must take priority.

The country is almost half way through the Five Year Forward View plan, and there are still many concerns for the plan of action when the five years are up. The report also displayed some of the same challenges we have experienced for a while, with long-term funding a key concern and the research revealing that 55% of people expect the NHS to deteriorate as confirmation of this. It is integral that we regain confidence from our public by addressing this issue, and tackling it soon.

The Lords Select Committee report reflects an overarching consensus around the issues and what needs to change with the narrative for the NHS in its current form.

We must plan beyond 2020.
