Warranties

TERMS OF GUARANTEE

Harvest Healthcare Ltd (the Seller) guarantees to repair or replace any goods supplied to customers which are found to be defective whilst still within their applicable warranty period. Warranties are subject to the following terms and our standard Terms and Conditions of Sale which can be found on our website:

  1. That the equipment has been used for the purpose for which it was intended
  2. That the use has been on a fair wear and tear basis and excludes user damage/user error.
  3. That applicable maintenance, cleaning, and disinfecting guidelines, if specified by Harvest Healthcare Ltd, have been followed
  4. That ALL maintenance has been carried out by a suitably qualified person
  5. That all repairs or replacements will be at the discretion of the Seller

WARRANTIES

Products supplied by the Seller are covered by warranty from date of purchase for the period specified below, subject to the Terms of Guarantee above.

Warranty Period

Seven Years

  • Beds: including frame and mattress platform.

Five Years

  • Beds: including woodwork, siderails incl. fingers, castors and electrical components; actuators, motors, power supply, cables, handsets, control box and bushes.
  • Hoists: including frame, actuators, handsets, control box (excludes batteries, charger, and castors)
  • Stand aids: including frame, actuators, control box, handsets (excludes batteries, charger, and castors)

Three Years

  • Harvest Pump 2 & 3: including compressor, bellows. PCB and timer motor (excludes serviceable parts, e.g. filters)
  • Harvest Pump 250: including compressor, bellows PCB and timer motor (excludes serviceable parts, e.g. filters)
  • Active mattress components (excludes mattress cover)
  • Active cushion components (excludes cushion cover)
  • Static mattresses (excludes the mattress cover)
  • Static cushions (excludes the cushion cover)
  • Positioning aids

One Year

  • Harvest Pump 1
  • Hoists, batteries and castors
  • Bed Batteries
  • Bed rail bumpers.
  • Mattress and cushion cover
  • Bedding
  • Wheelchairs
  • Slings
  • Fire evacuation products.
  • Falls Monitoring equipment.
  • Any other products which are bespoke or have not been named or recorded in this document.

Important notes regarding Warranty

  1. Serviceable parts of PUMPS, such as bellows compressors and filters, which are recommended for annual service, are guaranteed for 3 years with an approved service provider and service history.
  2. Damage to fabric covers through incorrect use and penetration by sharp instruments is excluded.
  3. FIRE EVACUATION products are SINGLE-USE products. The warranty will become invalid after the first use.
  4. Mattress and seat cushion covers refer to the washing instructions, recommended to replace the cover after 50 washing cycles to prevent fluid ingress.
