Job Description: Clinical Nurse Advisor
Reports to Commercial Director
The purpose of the role is to:
- Develop the clinical evidence to support the range of Pressure Care products as well as supporting our customers and colleagues with clinical training and support.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review the existing clinical data for each of our Pressure Care products and work with marketing to convert into presentable formats
- Identify gaps in the clinical data required to support the effective use of Harvest products
- Work with the Commercial Director to prioritise workload based on the needs of the business
- Identify appropriate ways that further clinical documents and supporting evidence can be developed
- Lead on clinical trials of Harvest products to demonstrate product efficacy and gather clinical data to support the use of products
- Develop clinical tools to help support the safe and effective use of Harvest products
- Work with Harvest Key Account Managers (KAMS) and Head of Long Term Care (LTC) to offer appropriate clinical and product training to customers
- Support Key Accounts with clinical audits to ensure safe and effective use of Harvest products
- Develop the Harvest Healthcare Academy, a suite of clinical training courses to deliver to our customers and colleagues
- Ensuring all front-line staff are appropriately, clinically trained to a level that would be expected of the customers in the marketplace
- Representing the company at National (and occasional International) conferences and exhibitions as well as Clinical Equipment Reviews (“ERG’s”) to act as a product/brand ambassador
PERSON SPECIFICATION
The person will have an active nurse PIN and a minimum of 5 years’ experience working within the healthcare environment within the UK. An active interest in Tissue Viability, ideally with experience as a Tissue Viability Link Nurse or actively working within a Tissue Viability team. Experience in a commercial organisation is desirable but not essential.

- Able to use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and quickly learn other IT programs used within the business
- Happy to be predominantly office-based in Rotherham with a degree of frequent UK travel, occasional International Travel but with the flexibility to work from home when required and ultimately manage own time to ensure the job is done effectively
- Self-motivated and comfortable working alone as well as being part of a team
- Happy to have an “online presence” allowing us to promote the availability of a Clinical Nurse Advisor within the organisation
