Duogel

The Duogel cushion is a gel cushion made of two parts of visco-elastic gel to provide a cooling effect aiding comfort for the user.

The thin nature of the cushion means that it can be used within many environments, one of these being on an armchair. It ensures the patient remains safely within the chair as the arms can still be used as a barrier.

The white pad fluid gel ensures reduction of the high pressures on sensitive areas such as pelvic protuberances.

The high-reticulated blue visco-elastic gel resists fluid migration thus preventing penetration. This is for use on low risk areas to improve comfort and stability.

Comes with a 3-year warranty.

Gel Cushion

The Gel Cushion is made of viscoelastic gel with highly elastic properties, the cushion surface acts as a second skin, perfectly moulding to the body shape in the sacral area, whilst reducing friction.

The Cushion is made of high resilience, impermeable, viscoelastic polyurethane gel with highly elastic properties. It is designed to enhance existing support surfaces.

The Gel Cushion is designed to work as an enhancement to existing surfaces by providing an increased pressure distribution without compromising the patients posture. The gel provides a cooling effect for the user to aid comfort. The cushion is not recommended for use on a hard surface.

This cushion is only 25mm in depth, making it ideal for use on rise-recliner chairs and wheelchairs, as the arms of the chair can still be used as a barrier to prevent the user from falling out. We also offer an Ultra-Thin Cushion for use on chairs.
