A year on from attending the annual NAEP Exhibition, Harvest Healthcare returned as an exhibitor and left as the winner of the Best Exhibitor Stand.

This year’s conference was to help delegates Unravel the Mystery of the Care Act, the act which is designed to provide a clear structure to adult social care through the merging and updating of care and support law, combined with the establishment of new responsibilities for local authorities, partners, and new rights for service users and carers.

Harvest Healthcare attended the exhibition along with many other companies, to inform delegates of our products, offer support on how we can help individuals to understand the Care Act and demonstrate our complete solution for all modern care environments.

Taking position on our stand this year we had the;

• Gel Cushion

Delegates this year had the chance to vote for the best exhibition, not only on the appearance of the stand, but also the welcome and approachability of the hosts and the information provided.

In early June we attended the annual NAEP (National Association of Equipment Providers) conference as an exhibitor. This was an ideal opportunity to showcase our products for the equipment store market and to introduce some new ones.

Since it is mainly a conference, the visitors are a mixture of specialist nurses and procurement professionals who have a direct interest in these products and can affect the future demand for them. This creates an environment where we can meet existing customers as well as developing new contacts.

Taking prime position on our stand was:

• The XTec25 mattress from Systam. This represents an exciting new concept in pressure ulcer prevention and treatment, and can be used as a static or alternating mattress. The XTec25 generated a huge amount of interest and enquiries from people wanting to know more.
• The new Ultra Low Bed. This was the first time we have exhibited this new bed and the visitors were very impressed with some of its specific features. Particularly of interest was the slow speed of lowering over the last 120mm. This single handed operation is to provide the opportunity to remove obstructions from beneath the frame.

This has all the makings of a successful exhibition, and we gained many useful contacts. We will be following up on all of the requests for more details and demonstrations over the next few months and will report further.
